TRAUMATOLOGY

Orthopaedic trauma are injuries involving the musculoskeletal system. They can present as contusions, muscle strains, joint sprains, fractures, and dislocations. Simple conditions are sufficiently taken cared of by general orthopedic surgeons.

ADULT MEDICINE

There are non-traumatic conditions affecting adult patients handled by orthopaedic surgeons. Examples of which are infections of bones and joints, tumors, metabolic problems, limb deformities noted since birth or acquired from injuries and arthritis.
